Things worth knowing about training:
- Prerequisite: qualified lower secondary school leaving certificate / intermediate school leaving certificate
- Duration of training: 3.5 years
- Vocational school: Staatliche Berufsschule Neumarkt i.d. Oberpfalz
1.5 days per week (alternating 1 and 2 days per week) - Block lessons from the second year of apprenticeship onwards
- Examinations:
- Part 1 after 1.5 years, theory and practice; the result determines 40 % of the overall examination mark
- Part 2 after 3.5 years, theory and practice; the result determines 60 % of the overall examination mark
